2025 Black History Art Exhibit

In cooperation with the Village Parks and Recreation Department’s Annual Black History Art Exhibit with the Brown Deer Schools, the Brown Deer Community Foundation was pleased to provide the following students with special recognition and monetary awards on February 28.

  •  1st place: Ra'Lynn T. "No Way Out"

  • 2nd place: Dylan C. " The American Game"

  • 3rd place: Laura L. "I Hate The Way You Paint Me"

  • Honorable Mention: Hina G. "Hair Is The Buoy Of Self"

The judges (Community Volunteer Cynthia Bowling Stokes-Murray, Trustee Priscilla Hightower, and Foundation President Rob Guilbert) thanked all the students for their outstanding work and wish them ongoing success in the future!
